The Kowalski family.

Wolfgang Kowalski was born Germany in 1951. He was youngest and only boy, who grew up with his parents and two sisters in Wiesbaden Germany. Young Wolfgang joined his sister's household in Wisconsin when they lost their parents, who passed away within two months of each other.

Wolfgang along with his good friends that included contractors, a woodworker artesian, artist, and architect built this magnificent 3500+ square foot home. Nothing was spared, using only top-of-line wood, paint, windows, and flooring was used. Unfortunately, Wolfgang who poured so much life into the house, passed away 10 years later. Wolfgang not only built the house for himself, but also for his friends. The house was used as the main gathering spot to grill, talk, drink, and celebrate.

The Kowalski family could not let Wolfgang's vision disappear, and the Kowalski's (sister's Sonni and Margit), with the help of Sonni's daughter Yvonne purchased the house from the mortgage company. Today, Wolfgang legend continues, with friends and family gathering for vacations, family reunions, holidays, and special events.

Relax in our 3500 square foot, fully furnished luxury home in the picturesque town center of Fish Creek, Door County, Wisconsin. The home is conveniently sited near biking and ski trails, and only a 10-minute walk to the local shops. Home is a near the Top-of-the-Hills shops, and is walking and biking distance to the Peninsula State Park. It comes fully furnished with 4 bedrooms, 4 baths (two with Jacuzzi tubs), sofa beds in both the living room and the finished basement, a 1.5-car garage and a 100 square foot furnished cottage adjacent to the house. Amenities include designer furniture and top-of-the-line appliances throughout, TVs in almost every room, a living room fire place, living room surround sound system, large outdoor fireplace, wrap-around porch and outdoor furniture to relax with family and friends, recreational basement complete with pool table, large screen TV and surround sound system.
